HT04: Lost labor productivity due to heat and humidity
收藏资源简介:
High temperatures and humidity can impact the productivity of manual workers. This is especially true for outdoor workers who have little protection from the heat. This collection of data attempts to quantify lost labor productivity on an annual basis as a percentage of available time. A 12-hour workday is used to calculate the number of available hours per year, and different shift schedules are included. This collection contains: 1. The average number of lost productivity hours for a heavy laborer during a baseline period (1971-2000) and three subsequent relative warming levels (0.5, 1 and 1.5C). 2. Population weighted lost productivity percentage per country. This data was generated using Version 2023.09.18 of the the HEAT Github repository in the WoodwellRisk Github organization.
