As part of the joint federal / Länder measurement program for the North and Baltic Seas, the parameter "alcane, hexadecane, aliphatic hydrocarbon (16 C-atoms) in sea water" was determined in seawater.作为北海与波罗的海联邦及州联合监测项目的一部分，研究人员对海水中的"烷烃（alcane）、十六烷（hexadecane）及含16个碳原子的脂肪烃（aliphatic hydrocarbon）"参数开展了测定工作。
