Glia maturation factor beta (GMFB) as a major member of GMF family, has been found significantly involved in inflammation and regeneration of brain cells. However, the role of GMFB in liver remains unknown, and the expression profile of GMFB during liver regeneration is poorly explored. In this study, total RNA was extracted from wild-type or Gmfb KO C57BL/6 mouse liver on 24 h after partial hepatectomy or sham operation. And then RNA-sequencing was performed in Novogene Co. Ltd. (Beijing, China) using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform to unravel GMFB transcriptome changes in liver regeneration.
