This series consists of volumes recording admissions, discharges, temporary absences, absconding and punishments relating to girls at Kamballa home.The entries are arranged in chronological order by week ending. Each double page is divided into sections to record different types of movements. The format is similar to that of a day book. Details recorded include names of temporary absentees with date outward and inward, names and dates of discharges, names and dates of admissions, names of absconders plus details of incident (e.g. date, time, location, officer in charge), names and dates of return of absconders, details of any punishments (e.g. name, date, age, offence, nature of punishment).Each page also has a section for recording statistics of daily and weekly totals for residents on leave, residents sent to or returned from hospital or shelter, discharges, and residents Absent Without Leave, plus total numbers of residents per week.
