Systematics of the lizard genus Gerrhonotus

Phylogenomic (ddRADseq) data were generated from 50 individuals representing most recognized species of the lizard genus Gerrhonotus, along with 5 individuals from several outgroup taxa. This dataset was used to investigate phylogenetic relationships within Gerrhonotus, evaluate the potential presence of hidden diversity within the genus, and confirm the presence of an undescribed species of Gerrhonotus from Mexico.
