This series is comprised of volumes containing the minutes of meetings held by the Tumbarumba Shire Council.The minutes have all been typewritten with each set of minutes signed by the President of the Shire, usually at the following meeting, when they were read and confirmed.The minutes of every meeting usually included the following proceedings: Attendance, Confirmation of Minutes, Reports, Matters Arising out of the Minutes, Correspondence, and General Business. At each meeting the Council variously received reports from the President of the Shire, the Finance Committee, the Shire Clerk, the Shire Engineer and the Shire Health Inspector.The minutes document each decision the Council made, including matters concerning roads, buildings, bridges, sanitary concerns, public appointments, tourism and local business.
