Sacbrood virus in the Azores

The Azores archipelago provides a unique setting to study the evolution of SBV in the presence and absence of Varroa destructor. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the distribution of SBV. This virus was only detected in two varroa-infested islands (Faial and Pico).
