Local atomic and electronic structure in lead-free halide double perovskites

In a recent experiment, we combined HERFD-XANES and Total X-ray Scattering (TS) to characterize the structural response of halide double perovskite (HDP) colloidal nanocrystals (NCs) over a wide temperature range. As the first successful HERFD-XANES experiment on HDP NCs, and given the excellent results and the novelty of this approach in double perovskites, we propose a follow-up experiment to analyze the local structure of atoms at the B sites and its evolution from low to room temperature on new HDP NCs.
