<b>D</b><b>omestic</b> cattle are crucial livestock in agriculture, providing humans with diverse materials, including meat, milk, and skin. Nonetheless, disease resistance levels vary among different breeds of domestic cattle, and the precise molecular mechanisms that account for these differences remain incompletely understood. Therefore, RNA-Seq technology was used to explore the miRNAs related to disease resistance between the liver and spleen tissues of Yunnan zebu and Holstein cattle to discover novel miRNAs. This study's findings will elucidate the molecular mechanism underpinning the variable disease resistance levels observed between Yunnan zebu and Holstein cattle. This information holds significant scientific and technical value, as it will provide a foundation for the breeding and production of domestic cattle, which are of paramount social and economic importance.
