IMOS - Ships of Opportunity - Sea Surface Temperature data collected on the Research Vessel R.V. Linnaeus

This dataset contains Sea Surface Temperature (SST) underway observations collected on trips of the Research Vessel RV Linnaeus (callsign: VHW6005) from its occasional trips within 200 nm from Hillarys Boat Harbour, WA.Bulk SST is processed from SBE38 calibrated digital oceanographic thermometer and SBE45 MicroTSG. The depth of water intake is 0.8 m.The data are quality controlled by the Bureau of Meteorology and provided to the AODN.

本数据集收录了“林奈号”研究船 (Research Vessel RV Linnaeus，呼号：VHW6005) 在西澳大利亚州 (Western Australia, WA) 希拉里斯船港周边200海里范围内的不定期巡航中获取的走航式海表温度 (Sea Surface Temperature, SST) 观测数据。整体海表温度 (Bulk SST) 由经校准的SBE38型数字海洋测温仪与SBE45微型温盐传感器 (MicroTSG) 处理生成。该数据集的取水深度为0.8米。相关数据已由澳大利亚气象局 (Bureau of Meteorology, BoM) 完成质量控制，并提交至澳大利亚海洋数据网络 (Australian Ocean Data Network, AODN)。
