This dataset includes 8-meter resolution Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) for Asian high-mountain glaciers and snow-covered regions, which are generated from stereo image pairs captured by MAXAR-owned satellites including WorldView, GeoEye, and QuickBird. The DEMs provided in this dataset are produced using Very High Resolution (VHR) along-track and cross-track stereo imagery acquired by DigitalGlobe satellites. Each DEM strip has a unique timestamp, enabling users to conduct change detection analyses and perform comparative observations of topographic data collected across different seasons and/or years. Each DEM strip spans approximately 13.1 km to 17.4 km in width and 111 km in length.
