This project presents a comprehensive database of 4,500 steel buckling-restrained braced (BRB) frames designed in accordance with ASCE 7 and AISC 360, focusing on buildings located in high and very high seismic regions. The BRB frames were modeled and analyzed using an automated design workflow developed via the ETABS Python API, followed by nonlinear response history analyses (NRHAs) at the design-basis earthquake level. Additional NRHAs were performed at service-level, design-basis, and maximum-considered earthquake hazard levels to extract key seismic response parameters, including peak story drift, residual drift, roof drift, and floor acceleration. Ground motions were selected from the PEER NGA-WEST2 database, and design variability was introduced through Monte Carlo Simulation. This database fills a critical gap in publicly available seismic performance data for BRB frames and serves as a valuable resource for researchers, engineers, and code developers aiming to advance data-driven, performance-based seismic design methodologies.
