To investigate how plant diversity and root traits relate to soil fungal communities, in 2021 we collected trait data from plots in the Jena Experiment (https://the-jena-experiment.de; funded by the DFG FOR 5000) and characterized fungal communities by sequencing, respiration and lipid fatty acid quantification.
