VPRS 21049 Walhalla Cemetery Ledger

This series consists of a ledger used by the Walhalla Cemetery Trust (VA 3010) to record expenditure and receipt of income on various cemetery activities. The series contains only one volume. The volume is self-indexing, with the various areas of expenditure and income recorded alongside their page number in the alphabetical index pages at the beginning of the volume. Topics include public subscriptions, legal expenses, open ground interment fees, private graves etc. The section 'grave fees remitted' records the purchase of grave sites by named individuals.  The final pages of the volume record the total receipts and expenditures for the cemetery for each year the ledger was in use. Entries in the volume span 1879 - 1925.
