The interplay of superconductivity and magnetism in time-reversal symmetry (TRS) breaking van der Waals materials is crucial for understanding unconventional superconductivity. We propose a muon spin rotation study of Pd-intercalated 4H-TaS2 to investigate its superconducting pairing mechanism and the presence of spontaneous TRS breaking. The parent compound 4Hb-TaS2 exhibits superconductivity and potential TRS breaking. Pd intercalation modifies the superconducting state to quasi-2D with an enhanced transition temperature. μSR measurements on 4H-Pd0.01TaS2 will probe the superconducting ground state and the role of TRS breaking, providing insights into the unconventional superconductivity of 4H-TaS2.
