WMS Municipal Subdivisions 1:25 000

Representation service for the dataset Municipal subdivisions 1:25 000 for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition to the data of the VG25 in the specification levels, the data base KT25 for the largest municipalities (e.g. with at least 250 000 inhabitants) contains the municipal sub-areas of the first order. For the municipal sub-areas, a municipal key was adopted as a municipal sub-area key (KTS) or, if not available, was generated for the dataset. From the combination of regional keys (RS) and KTS, the dataset-wide unambiguous municipal key (KS) was created, since the adopted KTS is unique only within the respective municipality. The geometry of the boundaries is aligned with the ATKIS® base DLM in terms of accuracy and resolution. The data set is only available in the specification levels. The service is exclusively made available to federal authorities.
