Neoisoliquiritin (NEO), a natural product from licorice roots, is a potential inhibitor of AR. It was proved that NEO could inhibit the proliferation of human prostate cancer cell line LNCaP. To identify the putative target genes, which contributing to the anti-tumor effect of NEO, we employed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis to examine the genome-wide changes responsiveness to NEO that occur in LNCaP cells. High-throughput sequencing was performed using the Illumina Hiseq platform in Novogene Genomics.Fold Change (FC) NEO vs control thresholds at 1 with an adjusted p-value inferior to 0.05 were used to consider a gene up or down-regulated.
