It was created as part of a design-based research study aimed at developing an AI-based program design for early reading instruction. The qualitative data included semi-structured interview transcripts and Delphi round responses collected from experts in literacy education, educational technology, and AI. The purpose of the dataset was to identify pedagogical, technological, and linguistic design requirements for an AI-based early reading model. The dataset contains anonymized and thematically coded qualitative materials, including expert opinions, consensus summaries, and categorized content matrices derived from the Delphi process. Identifiable information from raw videos and audio recordings is securely stored by the corresponding author and is not publicly available due to confidentiality agreements and ethical approval restrictions. However, the analyzed and collected data supporting the findings has been shared in a transcribed form.
