The knowledge and quantification of the population and families residing in the Basque Country requires various statistical sources. On the one hand, population and families have been counted every 10 years through the Population and Housing Census, as well as Population and Housing Statistics (SPV) in the intercensal period. On the other hand, through the municipal statistics of inhabitants and using as main sources the administrative records of the Municipal Register of Inhabitants, the municipal demographic information is kept up to date.要掌握并量化巴斯克自治区（Basque Country）的人口与家庭状况，需依托多类统计数据源。一方面，每十年通过人口与住房普查完成人口与家庭的全面统计，并在两次普查的间隔期借助人口与住房统计（SPV）开展阶段性统计工作；另一方面，通过居民市政统计数据，并以居民市政登记册的行政记录作为核心数据源，实现市政人口统计信息的实时更新。
