field sample training with animals

We have a group of four people, and the data was collected at two locations, Grassland and Woodlot at York University. It was modest sunlight and slightly cloudy. The wind was slightly breezing. The temperature was 20 to 22 degrees. We did belt transect of 15 metres with a tape along with the grassland. Transects we chose over grassland was randomly. Our group was divided by two, and every two person do five transects at the grassland. One person holds the timer and the other one sweeping left right direction along transect. The net was sweeping on the tip of the grassland. We count time used for sweeping, Abundance and diversity of insects collected in the sweeping net. <br>
