Sluice‑Regulated Estuarine Carbon Study

This repository contains the complete data analysis workflow for Bayesian Source Apportionment of Sedimentary Organic Carbon in a Sluice-Regulated River-Estuary Continuum. The project aims to identify and quantify the sources of sedimentary organic carbon (SOC) in a complex river-estuary system.To achieve this, the study integrates:Multi-Proxy Geochemistry: Analyzing grain size, elemental, and isotopic data.Machine Learning: Using Random Forest to identify key environmental drivers.Bayesian Modeling: Applying the `simmr` model for source apportionment.Spatial Analytics: Incorporating GIS-based landscape analysis.The entire project is organized into five sequential modules, reflecting the analytical steps presented in the project.
