Wetland Types

The present goal of the Service is to provide the citizens of the United States and its Trust Territories with current geospatially referenced information on the status, extent, characteristics and functions of wetlands, riparian, deepwater and related aquatic habitats in priority areas to promote the understanding and conservation of these resources.本服务的当前目标是为美国及其托管领土的民众提供优先保护区域内湿地（wetlands）、河岸带（riparian）、深水生境及相关水生栖息地的现状、分布范围、固有特征与生态功能的实时地理空间参考信息（geospatially referenced information），以促进社会对这类资源的认知与保护工作。
