Version 1998 - The bio-geographic regions dataset (Version 1998) contains the official delineations used in the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC) and for the EMERALD Network set up under the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Bern Convention).1998版生物地理区域（bio-geographic regions）数据集包含了《生境指令（Habitats Directive，92/43/EEC）》以及依据《欧洲野生生物与自然栖息地保护公约（伯尔尼公约，Bern Convention）》设立的翡翠网络（EMERALD Network）所采用的官方区划边界。
