Overflow model city of Antwerp, maximum water level in metres, modelled at specific year and repetition period. Download - https://s3-ant1.antwerpen.be/prd-open-data-datatank/DOWNLOADS/pluv_2050_T20.zip Purpose: Urban areas are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change, due to the high concentration of people, infrastructure and economic activity, but also because cities tend to exacerbate extreme climates such as heatwaves and flash floods. Climate-fit.city will translate the best available scientific evidence on the urban climate into relevant information for public and private end-users active in cities across a range of different sectors. Creation: TH e map is based on the results of VITO’s urban climate model UrbClim’. For the reference period ‘2000-2017’, the model was driven by ECMWF ‘ERA5’ data. The future data are generated by matching climate change statistics, based on a large number of GCMS and RCMS, to the reference data.
