Transcriptomic analysis of Streptococcus suis in response to excess manganese

We explored the transcriptome change of Streptococcus suis in the presence of manganese by RNA sequencing. The data revealed that the genes in the troABCD operon were significantly downregulated in response to manganese. The transcription profiles of Streptococcus suis treated with manganese were compared with that treated with water. Each condition contains three biological replications. Please note that S. suis response to other metals were also conducted. RNA sequencing data for the control group (water treatment) have been submitted to the GEO database under accession number GSE153766 and are included here.
