Supplementary data to "The role of semi‐open habitats as dispersal corridors for plant species of woodlands and open habitats"

In four 25 ha study sites in each region the research group conducted vegetation surveys in five randomly selected plots of 5 m x 4 m in four habitat types of habitats: woodlands, semi-open habitats where canopy closure was high, semi-open habitats where canopy closure was low, and open habitats. In each plot the researchers determined all vascular plants and epigaeic bryophytes and estimated their cover (Dierschke, 1994). Nomenclature is based on Jäger (2011) for vascular plants and Frahm and Frey (2004) for bryophytes.
