Temperature and light intensity at hard-bottom high-Arctic shallow subtidal fjord locations

We present a 16-yr long-term dataset of water temperature and relative light intensity at two depths (8 and 14±1m) of two arctic hard-bottom sites on Svalbard (Isfjorden, 78°N). We provide monthly and annual means, maxima, and minima for further in-depth analysis. The high temporal resolution dataset (every 30 min, between 2006–2022) serves as baseline for long-term investigations at the shallows of a high-Arctic fjord undergoing severe environmental changes.
