Hyphal associated microbial communities of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are important members of the plant microbiome. Extraradical hyphae of AMF extend from the plant root into the soil environment and interact with soil bacterial communities, influencing community composition and nutrient cycling. This project uses 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing to detail hyphal associated communities of AMF and test how these communities vary between soils, between fungal species and through time.
