PRISMA 2020 Checklist for “Teaching Through Chaos: Resilience and Survival of Female Educators in Refugee and Conflict-Affected Settings”

This item provides the completed PRISMA 2020 checklist for the narrative systematic review titled “Teaching Through Chaos: Resilience and Survival of Female Educators in Refugee and Conflict-Affected Settings.” The underlying review systematically identified and synthesized 34 primary studies and selected secondary sources from Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, and Eastern Europe. It examines how conflict and displacement affect female teachers’ mental health (e.g. PTSD, burnout, acute distress), career trajectories (salary arrears, credential loss, blocked access to CPD), and gendered vulnerabilities (GBV, unpaid caregiving), while also documenting relational and spiritual resilience and emerging support models. The PRISMA 2020 checklist details how the review addressed key items related to search strategy, study selection, data extraction, risk of bias appraisal, and narrative synthesis. The file is provided to enhance transparency and reproducibility of the review methodology.
