A study of knowledge, experience and beliefs about Hepatitis B virus infection in south western Uganda

The files here represent the metadata underpinning a study to investigate knowledge, experience and beliefs surrounding hepatitis b virus (HBV) infection in south-west Uganda.<br><b>S1 Table: </b>Data extraction summarising responses to discussion about knowledge, experience and beliefs about Hepatitis B virus infection from 131 study participants in Uganda. Table summarises feedback from individuals and group discussions. <br><b>S2 Tables:</b> Common themes obtained from analysing responses obtained from study participants participating in discussion about knowledge, experience and beliefs about Hepatitis B virus infection in Uganda. These represent responses from all individuals represented in the study. Note there is not a defined denominator, as there were differing approaches to approach discussion with study participants. <br>The study was approved by the Science and Ethics Committee of the Uganda Virus Research Institute (ref: GC/127/18/05/645 and the Oxford Tropical Research Ethics Committee (ref: 516-18).
