When asked how much they spent on clothing and accessories in 2018, approximately 55 percent of people living in the North-East of Italy said they spent less than the previous year. The expenditure on clothing and accessories increased in the Islands (Sicily and Sardinia), where almost 21 percent of the respondents spent more than in 2017.
