Binding of PI3K to GRB2:GAB1 in complex with phosphorylated heterodimer of ERBB2 and EGFR

Regulatory subunit p85 of PI3K (PIK3R1) binds GAB1 in complex with GRB2 and phosphorylated ERBB2:EGFR heterodimer. Catalytic subunit p110 of PI3K (PIK3CA) is constitutively associated with the PIK3R1. Binding of PIK3R1 to GRB2:GAB1 in complex with phosphorylated heterodimer of ERBB2 and EGFR triggers a conformational change in the PI3K complex, resulting in PI3K activation (Jackson et al. 2004).

PI3K（磷脂酰肌醇3激酶）的调节亚基p85（PIK3R1）与GAB1在GRB2和磷酸化ERBB2：EGFR异源二聚体的复合物中结合：PI3K的催化亚基p110（PIK3CA）与PIK3R1呈组成性关联。PI3KR1与GRB2：GAB1在ERBB2和EGFR磷酸化异源二聚体的复合物中的结合触发PI3K复合物构象变化，导致PI3K激活（Jackson等，2004年）。
