Guwahati airport (LGBI / VEGT) visibility observations and terminal-transfer reference, 2023-2026

Three and a half years of routine half-hourly airport visibility observations for Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati (ICAO VEGT), published with the analysis code and a short note. Data. 63,573 METAR records from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet ASOS archive, January 2023 to October 2026, local time, including the reported visibility value, sky cover, weather codes and temperature. What it shows. Reported visibility below 1.5 statute miles (2.4 km) occurred in 49.7% of December-to-February reports against 9.8% in the other nine months. It concentrates between 04:00 and 09:00 local time, peaking at 06:00. Fog codes (FG) appear almost only in December and January. What it is not. Reported visibility is not a delay, cancellation or runway-status record, and nothing here models operational minima or airline decisions. Files.
