资源简介:

This study aimed to identify the relationship between temperature (T), humidity (H), temperature-humidity index (THI) and water intake (WI) and growth factors in lamb. There were 20 Phan Rang lambs belonging to four age groups of 3, 6, 9 and 12 months (5 heads per each group) were raised in Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam, in different seasons by T and THI were examined and WI and growth hormone (GH), Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), with its cellular transport and receptor proteins GHBP, GHR, IGFBP, IGFR -1) for two seasons: hot (June-August) and cold season (November-January). Daily T, H and WI were recorded, and the reason for IGF-I was determined. The results showed that T, H, THI and WI were closely correlated (P<0.05) with IGF concentration. When the T was 26.30C to 32.50C and increased by 10C, the WI increased by 0.46 litre/day/lamb, and the concentration of GH and IGF-I in the blood also changed ng/ml. When the value of THI was more than 25.6 and rose by one value, the WI was increased by 0.45 litre/day/lamb and growth hormone (GH) and IGF-I (by ng/ml was increased as well (P < 0.01). Humidity tends to be the opposite; when humidity is below 75%, the amount of water consumed does not change and GH in balance; when humidity is above 75%, for every 10% decreased the WI, but increased GH in balance for growth performance, the amount of water consumed decreases by 0.46 litres/day and GH ng/ml in lamb.
