Replication Data for a Manuscript on Environmental Law in a Continuing Socialist Legal Order
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides the supplementary materials for a manuscript currently under double-anonymous peer review at a journal on communist and post-communist studies. The manuscript analyzes the legal-institutional configuration through which environmental authority is organized within a continuing socialist legal order, using doctrinal-textual analysis of statutory materials and a bounded comparative reading against the Chinese case. The dataset comprises four supplementary files: (1) S1 — Coding framework: a structured framework for analyzing statutory provisions across four interlocked analytical dimensions (state ownership and centralized planning; ideological education and mass mobilization; layered coercive enforcement; and regime legitimation), including indicative provisions and operational coding rules. (2) S2 — Comparative matrix: a fifteen-row functional-area matrix mapping environmental governance instruments across two jurisdictions, organized around the four analytical dimensions, with explicit absence claims bounded by the accessible statutory corpus. (3) S3 — Catalogue of legal materials consulted: an annotated catalogue of the thirty-one primary statutory and constitutional texts forming the broader corpus, with the twenty directly analyzed instruments separately identified. (4) S4 — Translation glossary: a Korean–English glossary of specialized statutory and administrative terminology, preserving original orthographic conventions for cross-verification. Full bibliographic and contextual information, including author identification and a permanent citation reference to the associated article, will be added once peer review is concluded and the article is published.
