Municipal and district household data for South Africa (2016)

This dataset contains the number of rural and urban households, as well as the total households and shares of rural versus urban for 2016 per local municipality and per district municipality in South Africa. This dataset was created as part of a research project on spatial inequality in Water-Energy-Food (WEF) security in South Africa, the implications on public health and the impacts of climate change.
