Raster maps from the ClimEmpower methodology for Heatwaves for the Sicily ClimEmpower's region

This Zenodo record contains the raster outputs generated by applying the ClimEmpower heatwave-risk mapping methodology developed within the ClimEmpower project. The collection includes the final heatwave-risk map as well as intermediate hazard, exposure and vulnerability rasters produced during the analysis. The methodology was designed for European countries using open-source datasets. The files support the transparent, reproducible assessment of heatwave risk and can be used for further analysis, validation and climate-resilience planning in any of the five ClimEmpower regions: Sicily, Italy; Costa del Sol, Spain, Osijek-Baranja County, Croatia, Troodos Mountains, Cyprus and Central Region of Greece. The maps combine vulnerability hazard and exposure following a specific methodology developed within the ClimEmpower project, available at the website (https://climempower.eu/results/riskmaps/) and Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23813489).
