Complete genome sequences of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. phaseoli and X. fuscans subsp. fuscans generated by long-read sequencing technology

The objective of this project is to generate whole genome sequences of five Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. phaseoli strains, three X. fuscans subsp. fuscans strains, which cause common bacterial blight of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), and one non-pathogenic bean associated Xanthomonas sp. strain, to assess genetic variability among the common bacterial blight species complex.
