We used transcriptome profiling by RNAseq to identify the gene expression signatures elucidated in S. coelicolor in response to the three different glycopeptide compounds that share high degree of structural similarities and the same primary mode of action: dalbavancin, vancomycin and chlorobiphenyl-vancomycin.
