This dataset contains the raw data used to evaluate plant trait responses and floral volatile organic compounds (VOCs) under different CO₂ conditions. The file “harvest trait measurement data_four plants.xlsx” contains individual-level plant trait measurements for four plant species under normal and elevated CO₂ conditions. The recorded traits include SPAD values, total leaf number, total leaf area, stem height and thickness, internode-related measurements, branch number, flower stalk length, flower number, inflorescence number, and dry biomass of leaves, stems, flowers, and roots. The workbook contains separate worksheets for the two CO₂ treatments. The file “VOCs raw data.xlsx” contains raw floral volatile organic compound (VOC) data obtained from flower samples under the experimental CO₂ treatments. The dataset includes retention time, peak area, signal-to-noise ratio, molecular weight, chemical formula, compound name, and NIST record number for detected compounds. Measurements are provided for individual samples from the experimental treatment groups.
