Species-specific trait comparison of four plants grown under elevated CO2 conditions

This dataset contains the raw data used to evaluate plant trait responses and floral volatile organic compounds (VOCs) under different CO₂ conditions. The file “harvest trait measurement data_four plants.xlsx” contains individual-level plant trait measurements for four plant species under normal and elevated CO₂ conditions. The recorded traits include SPAD values, total leaf number, total leaf area, stem height and thickness, internode-related measurements, branch number, flower stalk length, flower number, inflorescence number, and dry biomass of leaves, stems, flowers, and roots. The workbook contains separate worksheets for the two CO₂ treatments. The file “VOCs raw data.xlsx” contains raw floral volatile organic compound (VOC) data obtained from flower samples under the experimental CO₂ treatments. The dataset includes retention time, peak area, signal-to-noise ratio, molecular weight, chemical formula, compound name, and NIST record number for detected compounds.
