Data for the paper entitled \"Impact of organic matter of different origins on lanthanum speciation, bioavailability and toxicity toward a green alga\".

This dataset includes measured total lanthanum concentrations and ultrafiltrable lanthanum concentrations in the presence and absence of natural organic matter. The amount of lanthanum taken up by the unicellular green alga Chlorella fusca as well as the 96-h growth inhibition are also provided.
