Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Goldness House, Torton, Worcestershire, January 2023

This collection consists of images, spreadsheets and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation and watching brief by Worcestershire Archaeology. Work occurred at Goldness House, Torton, Worcestershire in January 2023.Two trenches were excavated for the evaluation across areas of planned development. One trench revealed late -18th to early-19th century activity in the form of garden walls and drainage ditch. The second evaluation trench revealed natural features and a single possible posthole of post-medieval date. No structures, layers, deposits, horizons or artefacts were revealed predating the post-medieval period.
