资源简介:
The beech transplant experiment considers the impact of different beech progenies on early-stage root-associated fungal communities. For this, beech nuts were collected in 2011 in beech-dominated forest plots at three different sites across Germany (Schwaebische Alb, Hainich-Duen and Schorfheide-Chorin). The plants initially grew in a green house and were re-introduced to beech-dominated forest plots of Schorfheide-Chorin in 2012. Eventually, in 2014 and 2017 the roots and rhizosphere soil of beeches of the three different progenies were sampled. DNA was extracted, the fungal ITS2 was amplified and finally sequences using Illumina MiSeq.
