Inflammation and female reproductive health: Exploring diet, biomarkers, and causal links
收藏资源简介:
Infertility and reproductive disorders, including polycystic ovary syndrome, affect millions of women worldwide and represent a substantial public health burden. This thesis examines the influence of diet and inflammation on reproductive health. Using a combination of extensive reviews, large-scale population data analyses, and genetic and biomarker studies, the research shows that diets with lower inflammatory potential are associated with more favourable fertility outcomes. Furthermore, specific inflammatory markers are identified as potential contributors to infertility and reproductive disorders. Collectively, these findings suggest that improving diet quality and reducing systemic inflammation could offer practical, low-cost strategies to support reproductive health alongside conventional medical care.
