Food therapy,officinal and nourishing health liked deeply by the consumers from the black-boned chickens in China. However, some birds may instead have yellow or lighter skin, which directly causes economic losses every year. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are an important class of pervasive genes involved in a variety of biological functions.Although specific genes have been found to be associated with black skin pigmentation.However, the lncRNAs involved in black skin and their detailed mechanism have not been remained untested. Therefore, we performed lncRNA and mRNA expression profiles in Xichuan Black-bone chickens from black skin(n=3) and yellow skin(n=3).
