Hills (data type 112 in the Road Register)

The data covers the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. This type of data is based on the determination of the relative elevation difference between two consecutive road points using a barometer (air pressure). The method aims to obtain a rough picture of the refractive points on the equilibrium line, so the measurement is usually carried out only on the top of the hill and at the bottom of the valley.
