Soil load map (Kreis Recklinghausen/vector data)

An area-based representation of the estimated background material content in near-natural upper soils of both individual heavy metals and organic trace substances, depending on the source rock, the influence of flooding and the land use on a scale of 1:50,000.

The material spectrum of the soil load map includes the heavy metals cadmium, chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, lead, thallium and zinc, as well as arsenic and the organic groups of substances PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) and PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls). In addition, the general soil parameters pH, organic carbon content, grain size (for selected samples), skeletal content and dry matter were determined.
