Fecal virome of Bradypus crinitus

Report of a fecal virome from a newly discovered sloth species from Brazil (Bradypus crinitus), more specifically from the Southeast region in the atlantic forest. The goal was to identify the viral diversity at a family level in this species, as well as evaluate four pathogenic related bacterial genus found within this samples. Thus seeking a greater comprehension on the global metagenomic diversity. Illumina sequencing methodology was used to this end.
