Supplementary data for "Who Hosts the Ritual? Platform-Native Festive Participation and the Spring Festival Gala on Weibo"

Supplementary data for the revised article "Who Hosts the Ritual? Platform-Native Festive Participation and the Spring Festival Gala on Weibo" (Journalism and Media, Special Issue "The Ritual Functioning of Online Media"). Version 13 releases the corrected corpus (645 unique top-level comments from 552 pseudonymised accounts), the complete independent double coding by the two authors under codebook v4.2, the adjudicated codes, the superseded machine codes, the calibration round, the adjudication log and rules, the referent sensitivity readings, the comparison of the two comment views, the corpus correction log and a corrected README; the other sheets of the first submission are retained unchanged, except that a linking column was added to Comment coding and Tier A collection, one quotation in Post level Tier A was shortened, the Practice distribution sheet is marked as superseded and the ECHO formulas sheet carries the v4.2 list in place of the v4.1 list. Codebook v4.2 (revision 1, 30 October 2026) is deposited with it. The package is revision 1 of version 13 (30 October 2026); the README ("Revision 1 of version 13") lists what changed in this revision. Account names are replaced by pseudonymous identifiers. The comment texts (columns text_full, excerpt_collection and transcription_note of the Coding_full_v4_2 sheet) are not part of this record. They are deposited in a separate restricted-access Zenodo record, "Supplementary data v13: comment texts (restricted access)", https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23799418, available from the authors on request for verification and scholarly use (no username reconstruction, no verbatim republication; Section 3.9 of the article). The adjudication log and the codebook quote words and short phrases of comments, as the article does.
