Acomys cahirinus Genome sequencing and assembly

There is growing interest in the African Spiny Mouse (Acomys cahirinus) because of its ability for scarless healing of skin wounds and other tissues such as in the heart or kidneys. We performed genome assembly using Nanopore long-reads and scaffolded with available Hi-C data. We also provide RNA-seq data from individual tissues.
